How Does the Study Work?
You don't need insurance to participate in the study, and there's no cost to you. The study will cover your baby's first 16 weeks.
We provide your formula: We'll provide either our organic formula or a commercial non-organic brand name formula at no cost. It will be shipped directly to you via FedEx. Someone must be home to sign for the delivery.
Feed your baby only formula (no breast milk): You'll feed your baby only the provided formula during the study period.
In-home nurse visits: A qualified nurse will come to your home one or two times a month during the study period to weigh and measure your baby's growth. Here is what to expect during a visit:
(You can also view the video on YouTube.)
Track formula amount after visits: You will keep a log of how much formula your baby drinks for 72 hours after each home visit. You can use a provided phone app or paper if you prefer.
Once your baby arrives, we'll reach out to schedule your first home health nurse visit, which must be within 14 days of birth. During these home visits, a nurse (with your assistance) will measure your baby's weight, length, and head circumference. You'll be randomly selected to receive either our organic formula or a non-organic brand name formula, which will be shipped to your home within 1-2 days. You must commit to only feed your baby the formula that is provided to you—breastfeeding will not be allowed for the duration of the study. Your Home Health Nurse will come visit every 2-4 weeks to take measurements. More formula will be shipped after each visit.
After each visit, you will receive an Amazon gift card as an appreciation for your time.

What Is the Purpose of This Study?
The goal of this study is to demonstrate that babies who are fed Nara Organics formula grow at the same rate as those fed non-organic brand name formula, based on the measurements taken at each visit.
Why Is This Study Necessary?
